Url Re director extension for Magento is designed to fix 404 url errors on your website. A 404 url is an url that doesn’t exist. The default Magento page is displayed and often means that the visitor leaves your site.
There are several reasons that can cause a 404 error. For example :
- You recently changed you e-commerce website and old urls fully redirected
- There is a typing mistake in your website
- There is a typing mistake in an external website (a forum for example)
- An old product was deleted
